Dubai Newborn Photographer – Photographing older babies
As a professional Dubai newborn photographer, once contacted in advance, I always guide that best timing to photograph newborns is 5-10 days. The reason for that is newborn yet presume womb like behavior and sleep through the sessions, going naturally into newborn poses. I always suggest to go carefully through the post ” Why age is important” for detailed explanation of the same.
However, I often get inquiries with older newborns. Some are 3 weeks old, some are over 1 month, some are even 2-3 months old. I totally understand how busy one can get with new member of the family. First weeks just fly by and your little one is a few weeks old before you know it. Most mums say that their first weeks passed by in a blur. Yet they’d love to recreate newborn-like photography session with beautiful set ups they see on my page. I have been specializing in photographing newborns for the past 4 years. Being a professional Dubai newborn photographer, my job is to guide parents expectations once such inquiries take place. If little one is 1 months + , little one is a boss on day. Dubai newborn photography sessions should be enjoyable for both parents and the baby and I always work around babies’ abilities and capacity.
Scenarios
With 1 months olds we can always try to attempt bean bag flow posing ( basic newborn poses) but with 1.5 months old little ones poses get totally out of reach as newborns do forget womb like behavior, get much more stretchy and alert. Which is totally normal! I always suggest to attempt wrapped Dubai newborn photographer session to keep newborn sleepy and content and get some gorgeous newborn- like set ups covered.
Mum of baby T contacted me when little one was 3 months old already. That mile stone is brilliant for awake shots , baby on the tummy portraits if little one is holding the head without support. However, our baby had a different plan and after great feed and gentle rock, he settled. That allowed us to recreate newborn photography set ups and pretend baby T was still a newborn!
